Come From Away tells the extraordinary true story of the people of Gander, a small town in Newfoundland, Canada, that unexpectedly welcomed almost 7,000 stranded airline passengers who were forced to land there when the U.S. airspace closed following the events of September 11, 2001.
Through a diverse and dynamic cast, this musical brings to life the experiences of both the gracious 'Islanders' and the displaced 'Plane People,' capturing their fear, uncertainty, and the remarkable compassion that emerged in a moment of global crisis.
